PLACE YOUR BETS

To get your coloured playing chips, put your money on the table and ask the dealer, “colour please”. They’ll give you your own colour chips so they won’t get mixed up with anyone else’s on the table. Similar to Roulette, place your chips on the corresponding area of the table that you predict will win.

The wheel is spun and the clapper (the mechanical pointer at the top of the Big Wheel) points to the winning area.

WHAT’S YOUR LUCKY NUMBER?

The payouts follow the numbers on the wheel – so if you bet a pound on the ‘20’ section, and that’s where it lands, you’ll get £20 plus the pound you staked back in winnings. Covering 24/52 sections, ‘1’ is the most common number.

If you’re feeling lucky, there are two compartments marked ‘50’, one red and one black, and if the wheel stops there you’ve hit the jackpot – a massive 50-1!

CHIPS IN

The dealer will spin the wheel and announce no further bets. Then it’s just a waiting game to see if you’re a winner.
